OP Announcement Formatting Guide

Important: There is a pre-built op announcement template that is to be used for each week's event. It should be used as the basis for every event with only minor changes needed per-week.

Template

From the dashboard, click 'Create Event', then the 'Template' button on the top right.

Simply click on the ✓ Use button to pre-populate the Sesh event.

Start Time

Edit the date & time (opposite day to last week's op), and set for 7pm LA Time (PST, PDT depending on time of year).

Time Zone Note: Sesh uses local timezones and automatically converts for others. For Australian users, you'll need to reference recent event times to ensure correct scheduling (typically 1200, 1300, or 1400 depending on daylight saving).

Description

Summarize the mission we're playing and briefly touch on the general idea for the week. If a plan is in place, brush over it (don't need to go into a ton of detail here). Encourage marking attendance if you can do it without sounding forced.

Core Mod Setup:

Every Core is set up already in a list with working hyperlinks
Delete them all except for the line that has the Core we are using that week
The final formatting should look like: Core Mod - 17th XX Core

⚠️ Warning: Make sure you do not accidentally remove any of the special characters around the text [] ()

Appearance

You only need to add an image link here. You can use a direct link to a Discord image or to an Imgur image.

Image Source: This image should be from the op itself. Have a look in arma-media for some material or ask in tech-chat.
